  • Dr Temperley is a Specialist Anaesthetist appointed to all major Newcastle private hospitals.

    He obtained his medical degree at the University of NSW and then completed internship and residency at St George Hospital Sydney. His initial specialist training in Anaesthesia was in England through the Sheffield Training program. Returning to Australia, Andrew continued his training in Newcastle and Adelaide.

    Following the award of his specialist qualifications, Dr Temperley undertook post fellowship training in children’s anaesthesia at The Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children, Sydney.

    Working in a wide variety of clinical areas., Dr Temperley’s specific interests are paediatric anaesthesia, anaesthesia for ear, nose and throat surgery and anaesthesia for endoscopic procedures. He brings extensive training, experience and a calm reassuring manner.

    For ongoing professional and educational support, he maintains memberships with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and the Australian Society of Anaesthetists.

  • Dr Temperley enjoys camping, surfing and other outdoor pursuits with his family. He is also attempting to master the French language.
