Experience

Michael has been a consultant anaesthetist since 2011, & prior to anaesthesia had worked in Intensive care, emergency medicine, & aeromedical retrieval for 8 years. 

He has a sub-specialty interest in thoracic, neurosurgical, trauma, & regional anaesthesia. In addition to private work, he is a part-time staff specialist at the John Hunter Hospital, a tertiary referral hospital in Newcastle.

Michael believes in patient centred care, with an emphasis on informed choice & ethical conduct. He takes pride in delivering high quality care to all of his patients.
